About me
I am a senior citizen living in Hartford Connecticut. I am also a songwriter. "4t9er Fever" is just the first song that I have had copywriter. I have written new lyrics to the "It's a small world" to "This is God's World". I also wrote "I was married once" "Do you know my good friend Jesus" "Divorce is such a painful thing" and "Don't use God's name that way".
I am a retired Registered Nurse and graduated from Evergreen Valley College in San Jose, California. I am the Mother of three grown children, Brian David, Michael James and Cathrine Jane. My Grandson Nikolas Reed and Michael live in Fresno. Catherine and Brian live in Connecticut.
As a nurse I worked primarily in Step-down and Telementry units. As a travel nurse I worked in California, Alaska, Washington and Oregon on the west coast. And Connecticut, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania on the East Coast. I have worked in both Acute Care and Homecare. Hospitals on the West vs East Coast are significally different. West Coast patients are cared for by their Attending Physician whereas East Coast patients are left to the care of Interns and Medical Students.. I like the West Coast better.
On a travel nurse assignment in Connecticut I met my husband. We have been married for 25 years. He is a retired IBM machinest. He has a whole machine shop in our garage. His hobby is Freeflight Model Airplanes. In his shop he can build 90% of a model airplane engine that is 2-5 inches in length. He builds the carborator, piston and crank shaft from pieces of metal. He built an icosahedron. The icosahedron is one of the five platonic solids bounded by 20 equilateral triangles and has 12 vertices and 30 edges. It was built for IBM and used as a reward for retiring employees.
